An Iron Dome multi-level air defense system using artificial intelligence will be created in Türkiye, Report informs referring to the TRT Haber TV channel following a meeting of the executive committee of the defense industry, held in Ankara under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
It is noted that the Iron Dome project provides for the integration of air defense systems into a single network and the transmission of information through it for decision-making in real time.
According to the TV channel, projects for the purchase of the national KAAN fighter jet, Bayraktar TB3, Akinci and Aksungur UAVs, kamikaze drones and mini-drones, electronic warfare systems, and protection against UAVs of various classes for the Armed Forces were also considered.
The meeting participants discussed, among other things, projects to modernize armored vehicles, combat aircraft in service with the Turkish army, taking into account domestic capabilities, and the purchase of command, control and communication systems, the report says.
