Turkish special forces neutralize terrorists in Syria

Turkish special forces have neutralized terrorists in northern Syria, Report informs, citing the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.

According to the ministry, the two neutralized militants were terrorists of the YPG (the Syrian branch of the PKK). They were preparing to attack the Peace Spring operation zone.

The attacks on the terrorists were reportedly carried out by artillery.

PKK terrorists have carried out numerous terrorist acts in Turkey since 1984. As a result, Turkish security forces, service members and civilians became victims of the terrorist organization.

The United States and the European Union have listed the PKK as a terrorist organization.
