Turkish leader criticizes White House regarding situation in Syria and Iraq

"We did not talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin or US President Joseph Biden about the new operations in Syria and Iraq. Both of them know that we can take similar steps in this region at any moment," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters while returning from a visit to Qatar, Report informs.

Erdogan harshly criticized the White House: "We are allied with the United States within NATO. But it is the United States that brings thousands of vehicles and weapons to the terrorist region in Syria. This started during the Obama Administration and continued during the period of Donald Trump. Those events are being repeated now, during Biden's rule."

“I have repeatedly conveyed my position on this to my colleagues. Of course, they don't say a word. We have done what is necessary, we are doing it, and we will continue to do it,” the Turkish leader stressed.
