President Trump's golfing trips have cost U.S. taxpayers more than $100 million since the start of his presidency, a finding that largely results from his frequent trips to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Report informs, The Huffington Post reported.
The liberal web site said trips to Florida, including stops at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, have cost $81 million in total travel and security costs, according to its analysis.
During the summer, it's more common for Trump to travel to Bedminster, N.J., where he owns a golf club. Those trips totaled $17 million in travel and security costs.
It also included a trip the president made to Scotland last year that cost more than $3 million in reaching its total.
The conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch previously estimated that Obama spent $97 million in travel expenses over two terms of his presidency.
