Trump reveals how he plans to end conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza

US President-elect Donald Trump has told how he plans to resolve conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, Report informs.

He said in an interview with Newsmax that to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, he needs a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, noting that both leaders are looking forward to this meeting.

When asked about his strategy to end the war, Trump told Newsmax: "Well, there's only one strategy and it's up to Putin and I can't imagine he's too thrilled about the way it's gone because it hasn't gone exactly well for him either.

"And I know he wants to meet and I'm going to meet very quickly. I would've done it sooner but...you have to get into the office. For some of the things, you do have to be there."

Trump also commented on the situation regarding the settlement in the Gaza Strip.

In this regard, he noted that an agreement between the parties of the Middle East conflict on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages held by the Palestinian Hamas movement will be concluded soon.
