Three people died when a helicopter crashed in the western state of Jalisco, Mexico, state authorities announced Monday, Report informs, citing AP.
The accident occurred in the western town of La Higuera, municipality of Tuxpan, where the fall of a private helicopter that apparently took off from the state of Colima was reported, indicated on the social network X, formerly known as Twitter, Civil Protection and Jalisco Firefighters.
After crashing, the aircraft began to catch fire until it was completely consumed.
In the helicopter, three people were traveling who died on the spot, according to the preliminary report of Civil Protection.
The authorities have not reported so far on the causes of the accident or who were the occupants of the aircraft.
