At least three people were killed in the aftermath of heavy rains in western Cuba on Friday, local news portal Cubadebate said.
Report informs citing TASS that, according to the information, two people died in Havana, and one lost his life in the province of Pinar del Rio. Also, more than 60 building collapses of varying degrees were recorded in the capital. The natural calamity left around 20 people homeless. More than 1,000 residents have been evacuated from Havana.
In the west of the island, more than 75,000 people were left without electricity due to the disaster, and work is currently underway to restore the power supply.
