Taliban urges teachers who left Afghanistan to return home

The Afghan government, led by representatives of the Taliban movement, has called on university teachers who left the country to return to achieve scientific progress, Report informs referring to Ariana News channel.

“Afghanistan is a common home for all ethnic groups, and we are responsible for their development. In the absence of prosperity, the country's education system is incomplete. In this regard, the Ministry of Higher Education invites all professors who have left the country to return home,” reads the statement.

The Taliban emphasized that teachers should help to realize one of the country's development goals. The Afghan government has also announced allocation of funds to hire new teachers.
