Taiwan records approach of 10 aircraft, 5 Chinese ships

Taiwan’s armed forces have recorded 10 aircraft and five ships of the People’s Liberation Army approaching the island in one day, reads a statement on the website of the island’s defense department, Report informs.

As indicated in the statement, four aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered the air defense identification zone in the southwestern and eastern parts of the island.

The statement said Taiwan’s army responded by using aircraft, ships, and ground-based anti-aircraft missile systems to track targets.
