Syria says airspace closed after Israel Iran strikes

Syria said Friday it had closed its airspace in a "temporary" measure after Israel pounded Iran with a wave of strikes on its military and nuclear facilities, Report informs via Agence France Presse.

Civil Aviation Authority chief Ashhad al-Salibi told the official SANA news agency that Syrian airspace would be "temporarily closed until 3 pm (1200 GMT), as part of precautionary measures we are taking to ensure the safety of civil aviation amidst the current regional developments".
