Sweden temporarily suspends NATO membership process

Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Bilström said that his country had suspended the process of joining NATO, Report informs via Haber Global.

The minister made the remark after a meeting with the ambassadors of 25 Muslim countries in Stockholm.

According to him, the process is suspended due to the current situation.

The minister expressed hope that Sweden's full membership in the alliance would be approved in July at the NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania.
