Sweden passes decision to apply for NATO membership

Sweden will apply for membership in NATO as a deterrent against Russian aggression, Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson said Monday, Report informs, citing France 24.

Ulf Kristersson, one of the opposition leaders, also said he backs this decision.
