A magnitude 6.8 earthquake was registered off Cuba’s coast, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said, Report informs via TASS.
The epicenter was located 41 kilometers south of Bartolome Maso municipality in the Granma Province, with a population of 53,000.
No casualties or damage were reported. No tsunami warning was issued.
Earlier, a 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit 34 kilometers southeast of Bartolome Maso.
