South Africa bus crash kills 20, leaves 68 injured

As many as 20 people have been killed and 68 have been injured following a head-on collision between a tour bus and a cash-carrying van, Report informs, citing Daily Mail.

The collision happened on the N1 motorway in the Makhado area of Limpopo in South Africa.

Following the crash, the bus rolled from the freeway bridge into the river below, landing on its left side.

Most of the people found dead by the river had been trapped under the bus.

The exact details surrounding the collision are 'unknown at this time', however, South African Police Service attended the scene to investigate.

The ambulance service said that heavy rain had been falling in the area before the incident.
