Baku. 18 February. REPORT.AZ/ Gebel el- Lawz mountainous region in the North of Saudi Arabia has seen snow fall, Report informs citing the RIA Novosti.
Local residents have already been equipped with rental sledges, sleds and improvised skis.
Images spread in social networks feature Bedouins in traditional long shirts (galabeya), wrapped in a headscarf (keffiyeh), roll down the slopes on makeshift "boats" and even hold competitions. Children do not leg behind as well forming various shapes and playing in the snow.
Similar situation has been repeated for the second year in Gebel el- Lawz region, located in the province of Tabuk at an altitude of 2,500 meters above the sea.
