Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince to visit Japan

Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will pay an official visit to Japan from 20 to 23 May, Report informs, citing the Japanese Foreign Ministry.

During his stay in Japan, the Crown Prince will have an audience with the Emperor of Japan and the Emperor of Japan will host a court luncheon in honor of the Crown Prince. Kishida Fumio, the Prime Minister of Japan, will also hold a summit meeting with the Crown Prince, and host a dinner in his honor.

It is hoped that the visit to Japan by the Crown Prince will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This will be his first visit to Japan as the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His previous visit to Japan was in 2019 on the occasion of the G20 Osaka Summit.
