Russian strikes on Ukrainian regions over the past 24 hours have killed two people and injured 12 others, according to local authorities and emergency services in Ukraine, Report informs, citing Ukrainian media.
Russian forces shelled the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region using a 300 mm Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system. The attack injured five people, including a nine-year-old boy.
In addition, a 59-year-old woman was injured in two Russian strikes on the Koriukivka district of Chernihiv region.
Russian forces also attacked 59 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region over the past day. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said that two people were killed and four others were injured.
Authorities also received 73 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles and infrastructure facilities.
