The number of people injured in the July 16 Russian drone strike on Vinnytsia has increased to seven, according to Natalia Zabolotna, First Deputy Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.
As of 6:40 a.m. (GMT+3), seven people have been reported injured in Vinnytsia following the attack, according to local official Zabolotna. Five of them suffered burns, two are in critical condition, and three are in moderate condition.
"The strikes targeted industrial infrastructure facilities. A fire at one of the sites has been contained, while emergency crews are still working at another location," Zabolotna said.
In addition, four residential buildings were damaged in the Vinnytsia region.
The regional administration official noted that a total of 28 enemy drones attacked the Vinnytsia region overnight, with approximately 18 of them being destroyed.
Overnight, the Russian military launched attacks on several regions across Ukraine — first targeting Kharkiv, followed by Kryvyi Rih, Odessa region, and Vinnytsia.
In Kharkiv, three people were injured in the enemy assault. In Kryvyi Rih, a combined strike caused fires and power outages, with a 17-year-old boy among the wounded.
The Russian army also struck the Izmail district of the Odesa region with Shahed drones, hitting an infrastructure facility.
