Russian attack on Kyiv kills two, injures six

Two people were killed and six others injured in a Russian attack on Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital's mayor Vitali Klitschko said, Report informs.

According to him, three of the injured were hospitalized.

"Two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of the enemy attack. Six residents of the capital were injured, including a 16-year-old boy. Medics hospitalized three of the wounded," Klitschko said.

Local authorities declared an air alert overnight into Thursday.

In the Darnytskyi district, missile debris fell on the grounds of a non-residential area, causing a fire. In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a strike hit warehouse facilities.
