The operational headquarters for the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection announced a new case of COVID-19. An Italian national tested positive for coronavirus in Russia, his condition assessed as satisfactory.
The headquarters specified that the man arrived in Russia on February 29. On March 2, he sought medical aid due to symptoms of acute respiratory disease and was placed in an infectious diseases unit.
"The disease is in a mild clinical form, and the patient receives symptomatic therapy," the operational headquarters said in a statement.
