Putin: West's unhealthy methods disrupt stability and promote conflicts

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that the unhealthy methods used by the West are disrupting stability and encouraging interstate conflicts.

According to Report, Putin made the statement while opening the first plenary session of the Outreach/BRICS Plus meeting in Kazan.

"Behind the rules-based order being forcefully imposed on the world, there are attempts to prevent the independent development of competitors, African, Asian, and Latin American countries. They use illegal unilateral sanctions, open protectionism, manipulation of currency and stock markets, and interference in internal affairs under the pretext of caring for democracy and human rights and fighting climate change," Putin noted.

According to the president, such unhealthy methods and approaches lead to the emergence of new conflicts and the intensification of old confrontations.

"As a result, regional and global strategic stability, principles of equal and indivisible security are violated, and interstate and internal conflicts are encouraged," the Russian leader stated.
