French President Emmanuel Macron has proposed a summit between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and US President Joe Biden, and both sides accepted the offer, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
“He [Macron] proposed a summit between President Biden and President Putin, and then with all interested sides on security and strategic stability in Europe. Presidents Biden and Putin accepted the idea of such a summit in principle,” reads the statement.
