Protesters attack second UK hotel housing migrants, one injured

Protesters in the United Kingdom have attacked a second Holiday Inn hotel that is currently housing asylum seekers.

According to Report, which cites Sky News, the incident, which took place in the town of Tamworth, has left one police officer injured.

A group of individuals smashed windows at the hotel and attempted to start a fire using three Molotov cocktails. The protesters also clashed with police officers at the scene, resulting in one officer sustaining a suspected broken arm.

This attack follows a similar incident at a Holiday Inn in Rotherham, where protesters also tried to set the building on fire and broke windows. Police managed to push back the demonstrators from the hotel grounds, but at least ten officers were injured, with one losing consciousness.
