Prime Minister of Ukraine announces complete restoration of power supply countrywide

Power supplies disrupted by Russian strikes have been restored throughout the country, and rolling blackouts no longer apply, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said, Report informs, citing TASS.

“Yesterday, we managed to stabilize electricity supply throughout the country after the attack on October 10-12 on our energy infrastructure. The schedule for forced restrictions on consumers was no longer applied. Currently, our energy system is operating stably,” Shmyhal said at a government meeting.

At the same time, he acknowledged that the capacity of the backbone networks was reduced due to numerous destructions. Specialists need time to restore the reliability of power supply to consumers, during this period it is necessary to reduce the load on the networks to prevent accidents, Shmyhal added.
