The Pakistani Armed Forces will continue to fight the threat of terrorism to ensure the security and protection of the country's territorial integrity, President of the Islamic Republic Arif Alvi said, Report informs via TASS.
“Our successes in this asymmetric war are a testament to the ability of the national armed forces to develop into a unique force capable of meeting modern combat requirements. On this day, we reaffirm Pakistan's commitment to peace and its policy of peaceful coexistence,” he said.
Alvi called the settlement of the territorial dispute with India over Kashmir a priority for Pakistan.
