Police seize 1.58M euros in cash during searches at EP in corruption case

Police have confiscated 1.58 million euros in cash during searches of the European Parliament (EP) in the case of corruption around the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Report informs referring to TASS.

“In the course of searches conducted in the European Parliament on December 12, the police seized 1.58 million euros in cash,” according to the Belgian newspaper Le Soir.
