“I am convinced that in cooperation with Lithuania and Latvia we should lead to the complete isolation of Belarus in the future,” Deputy Interior Minister Maciej Wasik told public television in an interview on Wednesday. “Lukashenko reacts only to force.”
Late on Tuesday Poland said it will send more troops to protect its border with Belarus and summoned the country’s envoy in Warsaw to protest what it described as the violation of its airspace by two Belarusian helicopters.
