Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto arrived in Moscow within Budapest's peace initiative to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Report informs via Russian media.
"I have come again within Hungary's peace mission," Szijjarto said during a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
He stressed that the risk of escalation of the conflict is at its highest since the beginning due to recent dangerous and irresponsible decisions. Hungary believes that efforts to establish peace should be on focus.
The Hungarian foreign minister added that a solution can only be found at the negotiating table, and those who close diplomatic channels and criticize others for keeping them open do not actually want peace.
