Pentagon begins process of transferring power to Biden

The US Department of Defense is starting to implement measures to transfer power to the new administration, according to the agency's website on Tuesday, November 24, Report says, citing TASS.

"We will immediately begin implementation of our plan to provide support by the charter, Pentagon policy, and a memorandum of understanding between the White House and the Biden and Harris team."

On the eve of the counting commission of Michigan approved the victory of Joe Biden in this state's presidential elections.

In turn, US President Donald Trump recommended the head of the General Services Administration (GSA), Emily Murphy, to begin transferring power in the country to Joe Biden.

Despite this, Trump still refuses to admit his defeat, and his headquarters have filed several lawsuits demanding verification of the voting process or recounts of votes in several states.

General elections were held in the United States on November 3. According to media reports, Biden is ahead of Trump in terms of the number of popular votes and electoral votes. The democrat himself announced his victory in the elections.
