Party leader: Verdict on vaccine purchases in EU opens way to persecution of EC head

The recognition of the European Commission (EC) as guilty of failure to comply with EU standards on transparency and producer responsibility when signing contracts for the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines worth 2.7 billion euros opens the way to criminal prosecution of the head of the EC, Ursula von der Leyen, the leader of the French Patriots party, Florian Philippot wrote, commenting on the decision of the EU Court, Report informs referring to TASS.

"The EU Court of Justice has convicted Ursula von der Leyen in the PfizerGate case! On the eve of the European Parliament vote on her re-election! This will be an incredible help in achieving a criminal verdict in our case in Belgium, we will not give up!" he wrote, calling the European Union “a nest of corruption.”
