Over 20 passengers on Krasnoyarsk-Baku flight refused to fly due to technical problems on plane

A Russian airline IrAero plane, operating a flight from Krasnoyarsk to Baku, stalled on the runway after repairs to a broken air conditioning system, Report informs via the Krasnoyarsk channel TVK.

Flight IO 473 was scheduled to depart at 07:25 local time.

According to witnesses, passengers were delayed at the airport for approximately two hours, citing aircraft repairs. They were then re-boarded onto the same aircraft, which taxied to the runway but stalled.

The airport's press service told the TV channel that the aircraft did indeed have a technical malfunction that was fixed.

At 13:55 local time, during taxi to the runway, the plane was operational, but soon returned due to a family of five refusing to continue the flight.

Eventually, the plane did take off, but 22 passengers refused to fly.
