New York airports cancel most flights due to snowstorm

Most flights from and around New York City airports scheduled for today have been canceled in anticipation of a blizzard, Report informs with reference to FlightAware.

At John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, 154 flights, or 72% of all departures, have been canceled. This figure reaches 106 flights (89%) at LaGuardia Airport. At Newark Liberty International Airport (neighboring state of New Jersey), 162 flights (72%) have been canceled.

Moreover, 56 flights (30%) have been canceled at Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts.

The air traffic with cities on the east coast of the United States is the most restricted.
