New director of US Secret Service to be appointed soon, Biden says

US President Joseph Biden plans to soon appoint a new person to the post of Director of the US Secret Service, which has been left vacant after the resignation of Kimberly Cheatle, Report informs via the White House’s press service.

“The independent review to get to the bottom of what happened on July 13 continues, and I look forward to assessing its conclusions. We all know what happened that day can never happen again.
