Netherlands sends military aid worth €172 million to Ukraine

The Netherlands has sent Ukraine military products worth €172 million. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands, Kaisa Ollengren, whose words are quoted by the newspaper on Friday. Report informs, citing foreign media.

As the minister noted, “the total amount of military assistance sent is €172 million.” However, at the same time, Ollengren drew attention to the fact that it is “becoming more and more difficult for the Netherlands to supply combat equipment without consequences for its own combat readiness and performance of combat missions.”

At the same time, she noted that €172 million is the accounting cost of the delivered products and “almost twice as much” amount will be required to replace them.

According to the newspaper, the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands will allocate additional funds to replace the delivered goods and equipment. Part can also be reimbursed by the EU.
