Netanyahu: Israel intends to kill several more Iranian scientists

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that his country is determined to continue its military operation against Iran, Report informs.

During a press conference, Netanyahu said Iran's nuclear program poses a threat to Israel's existence, as Tehran seeks to increase its power and create nuclear weapons.

"First of all, Iran's nuclear weapons are the greatest existential threat to Israel," he said.

Netanyahu announced that the Israel Defense Forces had killed 10 Iranian scientists "who were developing weapons of mass destruction" for Iran. However, several more remained, whom Israel has identified as new targets.

He also stressed that Israel is warning the Iranian population about the IDF's operations in order to minimize civilian casualties.

"We do everything we can, even when the targets are located in the center of populated areas, including Tehran. We call for the evacuation of the population, and they leave the positions," the PM said.

The Israeli prime minister also stated that some of the destroyed targets have not yet been revealed. "We are hitting their radars, their headquarters, their radio stations and other targets that you will hear about soon," he added.
