Nearly 20 suffer as typhoon hits Japan

At least 20 people suffered in Japan, as typhoon Lupit has turned low pressure after sweeping through the country's western regions, NHK reported Monday.

Report informs, citing TASS, that eight houses were flooded due to torrential rains in Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Ehime.

Nearly 6,000 households were left without electricity after the typhoon cut power distribution lines.
