NATO Secretary-General sends proposal to alliance members to raise $100B for Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg officially sent alliance members a proposal to collect $100 billion in a special fund for military assistance to Ukraine over five years, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said this while going to Paris for a meeting with colleagues from the countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Report informs via TASS.

“On Tuesday, NATO member states received a proposal from the secretary-general to raise $100 billion that NATO wants to spend on the war. Moreover, they must be collected within five years, which means that NATO expects military operations to continue during this time,” Szijjártó told M1TV.

He stressed that Hungary did not want to participate in these initiatives of the North Atlantic Alliance.
