NATO's Stoltenberg says alliance not trusting China

NATO does not trust China, since the latter did not condemn Russia's military actions in Ukraine, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said on principles provided by China regarding the peaceful settlement in Ukraine.

China's Foreign Ministry earlier presented its 12-paragraph stance on resolving this crisis. The document calls for ceasefire and cessation of military actions, avoiding escalation of the crisis and the soonest resumption of the dialogue between Russia and Ukraine.

The plan also notes that dialogue is the only solution to the conflict and the international community should remain committed to the right approach to assisting to peace talks.
