NATO puts over 500,000 troops on high alert amid escalating tensions

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has placed more than 500,000 military personnel on high alert, signaling a heightened state of readiness, according to Report, which cites NATO spokesperson Farah Dahlalla.

In an interview with CNN, Dahlalla emphasized the profound transformation NATO has undergone since 2014, stating, "NATO has gone through the most significant transformation in our collective defense in a generation." She further highlighted that the alliance has "implemented the most comprehensive defense plans since the Cold War, and currently, over 500,000 troops are on high alert."
