Muan Airport in South Korea cancels all flights after plane crash

All domestic and international flights at Muan International Airport in South Korea have been canceled due to a Jeju Air aircraft accident, according to the Chungan Ilbo newspaper, Report informs.

The Korean Airports Corporation suspended check-in for Jeju Air flight 7C341, which was scheduled to depart for Jeju at 10:00 AM. Additionally, Jin Air flight LJ467, scheduled for 13:35 to Jeju, and Cambodia Airways flight KR542, which was supposed to depart for Siem Reap at 16:50, were completely canceled. Jeju Air flight 7C2215 to Bangkok and Jin Air flight LJ747 to Taipei were also canceled.

"All flights that were supposed to arrive at Muan International Airport on this day were also canceled," the publication writes.

A Boeing 737-800 aircraft operating Jeju Air flight 7C 2216 from Bangkok to Muan, South Korea, with 181 people on board, overshot the runway during landing at Muan airport and crashed into a barrier. A fire broke out afterward.
