In Germany, the number of confirmed cases of infection with the novel coronavirus has reached 240 people, Report informs.
The Robert Koch Institute earlier reported 196 confirmed cases.
North Rhine-Westphalia is worst affected by the COVID-19 (92), followed by Bavaria (35, 14 of them cured), from where the spread of the virus began in Germany. Baden-Württemberg has 26 and Hesse 12 cases of infection.
Six people contracted the disease in Berlin.
In general, the cases of infection were revealed in all federal states of Germany except Saxony.
