France aims to participate in the US-Ukraine talks on mineral resources to help resolve the ongoing conflict, according to French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu, Report informs.
"This agreement between the US and Ukraine needs to be concluded. However, I am personally discussing our defense needs with my Ukrainian counterpart. Our defense industry will require resources, and I have requested the French President to engage in discussions with the Ukrainians," Lecornu stated.
The Economist newspaper wrote that the future agreement between Ukraine and the US should address issues of control and security guarantees.
