Migrant mob attacks hunters in northwest France

Around 60 migrants armed with machetes and iron bars attacked three hunters in the French commune of Tardignan, located in the northwest of the country.

The attack occurred on Sunday night when the hunters, accompanied by the three-year-old son of one of them, were taking shelter in a cabin on the shore of the Channel. A mob of enraged migrants, frustrated by their failed attempt to cross the Channel, approached the cabin. The migrants believed that the hunters had alerted the police about their presence, prompting them to lash out in retaliation.

As the migrants made their way to the cabin, they smashed car windows and stole belongings from the hunters who had barricaded themselves inside. Some of the assailants were armed with machetes and iron bars, posing a serious threat to the safety of the hunters and a child.

The men bravely held their ground until dawn when gendarmes arrived at the scene and rescued them from the harrowing ordeal. The fate of the migrants involved in the attack remains unclear.
