MEPs call on EU to investigate activities of Ursula von der Leyen's family

A group of European deputies is asking the European Union to start investigating the commercial activities of the family of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, as soon as possible, Report informs, citing foreign media.

According to the information, the appeal is related to the financing of the company belonging to Ursula von der Leyen's husband, Heiko von der Leyen.

In a letter from seven deputies of the Green Party addressed to the Vice-President of the European Commission, European Union Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality Vera Yurova, stressed the importance of the investigation.
