Trade turnover between Russia and China will reach approximately $240 billion by the end of 2024, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and Chairman of "United Russia" Dmitry Medvedev told journalists, Report informs via TASS.
"We (with Chinese President Xi Jinping) discussed the economy, talked about how despite the opposition our countries face from other unfriendly states, primarily the Anglo-Saxon world, trade turnover remains at a very high level... They impose sanctions, but trade turnover at the end of the year will likely be at the level of $240 billion," he said.
Medvedev is on a two-day working visit to China.
