Media: Pashinyan threatens to recall ambassadors for contacts with Armenian Apostolic Church

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has threatened to recall ambassadors who try “behind his back” to maintain close contact with the heads of the dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC), Report informs referring to the Hraparak newspaper.

“Pashinyan appointed the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan as an “auditor”. Sinanyan, in turn, “recruited” embassy and consulate employees to periodically report to him on contacts between community leaders, ambassadors and clergy of the church,” the newspaper noted.
