Media: Candidate for Afghanistan's Supreme Leader known 

According to the Taliban, who seized power in Afghanistan, Mullah Khaibatullah Akhundzada is planned to be the country's supreme leader, Report informs, referring to News18.

The Taliban intends to form the government partly on the Iranian model. Thus, the supreme leader is the head of state and the highest political and religious authority. The executive power will be headed by the prime minister, one of the deputy leaders.

Akhundzadeh, a candidate for the Supreme Lader, has never made a public appearance, and his whereabouts are unknown.
