Magnitude 5.9 earthquake hits India's Assam state

A 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck India's eastern Assam state, Report informs, citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.

The epicenter was located 24 km west of the city of Dhekiajuli at a depth of 10 km.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far.
