Macron's former adviser to take office as ambassador to Türkiye this week

Isabelle Dumont, French President Emmanuel Macron's former adviser in charge of relations with Europe and Türkiye, will take office as ambassador to Türkiye this week.

Report informs, citing Hurriyet, that she will present her credentials to Erdogan this week.

According to some experts, with the appointment of Isabelle Dumont as the Turkish Ambassador, a new chapter in the complex Franco-Turkish relations is set to unfold.
