Lukashenko appoints new foreign minister

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has appointed Maxim Ryzhenkov as the country's new foreign minister, Report informs via BelTA.

Previously, Maxim Ryzhenkov served as the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus.

Sergei Aleynik, who has held the post of Foreign Minister to this day, was appointed today as a member of the Council of the Republic.
